About Hilo Oceanfront Bed and Breakfast
Hilo Oceanfront Bed and Breakfast is located in the town of Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii.

You will want to either fly directly to Kailua-Kona and then drive to Hilo (a beautiful 2hr. drive), or fly to Honolulu and take a connecting flight on Aloha or Hawaiian Airlines to Hilo.

The Big Island is a beautiful and diversified paradise. Most areas are accessible by regular rental cards. However, if you want to go to some really out of the ordinary places you might consider renting a 4WD (we suggest Harpers for 4WD rentals). We can direct you to all of the great out of the way spots.

We truly believe that we are situated in one of the most beautiful spots in Hawaii. The picture above is of the beautiful Lalakea Ponds, just a few yards from your deck. The ponds are ocean and fresh water fed. They are beautiful, cool and clear with grassy banks and mostly sandy bottom, safe swimming for young and old alike. The ocean breaks on the lava reef just beyond, and there are other good swimming beaches within walking distance, one with black sand and coconut trees and an other with white sand. We are in the beach park area and we can direct you to the best snorkeling, surfing and SCUBA diving spots. We are four miles from the center of Hilo.

Hilo has many restaurants, one within walking distance. And there are many things to do and see nearby. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is an easy 50-minute drive away. We are located ten minutes from Hilo Airport.
